The Road to IBJJF Pan Ams… Let’s Go!

The Pan-American Championship, or the IBJJF Pan Ams, is just around the corner, and will beginning in the second week of March . This means that schools all over the world are switching into their most grueling tournament training regimens, and putting students through the toughest practices of the year. Rightly so, as some divisions can have over a hundred fighters, making it a long battle to the finals.

I’m not ready for it, but I’m doing it anyway. The Pan Ams is a place where I can truly test myself against the best, and to be the best, you have to beat the best. This is the only measuring stick that matters.

Will I lose? Undoubtedly! Will I learn? Of course I will! Will I nail a sneaky submission in the early rounds? *crossing my fingers 🙂
